The "White hair" covers a stone on display at an odd stone exposition held in Chengdu, Southwest China's Sichuan Province, April 28, 2007. The stone has an estimated price of 10 million yuan, or equivalent to US$1.3 million. linkUpdate: From the People Daily, the "white hair" growing is a kind of halobios that has been attached to the stone for hundreds of millions of years. It gradually extends upright and evolves as hollow-pipe-shaped invertebrate fossil.
