Zoo Lioness Killed A Kiev Man

The sympathetical incident happened in the capital of Ukraine:

"The man shouted 'God will save me, if he exists', lowered himself by a rope into the enclosure, took his shoes off and went up to the lions," the (zoo) official said.

"A lioness went straight for him, knocked him down and severed his carotid artery."

Unfortunately, the God didn't save his life. 

A similar story on Boing Boing was found, telling of something about a housewife from new American Idol Tayloy Hicks's home state:

 On Memorial Day weekend, Clara Jean brown of Baldwin County, Alabama, prayed to the lord to protect her family from a storm in the area. Seemed like a good idea, until she said "Amen" and was struck by a bolt of lightning.
