Bradley Whitford, 49, the West Wing actor, and Jane Kaczmarek, 53, the Malcolm in the Middle actress, are divorcing.
After 16 years of marriage, Bradley and Jane have filed divorce papers in Los Angeles on June 19, People magaizne reported.
"He hopes the media will respect their wish for privacy as they focus on their children," a rep for Whitford said.
The couple got married in 1992 and have three children together, Frances Genevieve, 12, George Edward, 9, and Mary Louisa, 6.
