Jake Pavelka was born 27 January 1978 is an American pilot who appeared on three reality TV programs. Pavelka began taking flying lessons at the age of 12 and became an airline captain flying instructor for 23 Pavelka first appeared as a participant in the fifth season of ABC reality show Bachelorette.



The program concluded with Pavelka proposes marriage to attend Vienna Girardi.The couple split in June 2010. In June 2010 Pavelka was scheduled to guest star in an episode of Drop Dead Diva Toby Devlin to participate in a fictional reality dating show.

Vienna Girardi Stormed Out Crying During Showdown With Jake Pavelka

Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi finally had a face-to-face showdown about their relationship on Monday's The Bachelorette.

But things got ugly when Vienna stormed off the set in tears during their he-said, she-said argument about her decision on selling the split story to Star Magazine.

“I am sorry that I went about it the way I did.” Vienna tried to apologize to Jake, “But I know you, and I knew you would have [sold your story to a tabloid] if I didn’t.”



As Jake replied “You don’t know me and I wouldn’t have done it . . .” Vienna interrupted him.

And this made Jake very angry and shouted “Please stop interrupting me!”

Suddenly, Vienna broke into tears and then run off the set, screaming “He is the biggest liar I’ve ever met in my life!”

Jake said: “Unfortunately, that’s what one of our arguments looks like.”

Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi: The Bachelor Couple Split

Jake Pavelka, 32, and his fiancee Vienna Girardi, 24, the winner of The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love, have broken up!



“Jake and Vienna have split. They appreciate the respect for their privacy at this time.” a rep for the couple confirmed to People.

The news comes as a surprise as the two were very thick together during Jake’s recent appearance on the tenth season of Dancing With the Stars, while Vienna was often seen in the audience supporting him. The couple were also spotted smooching just three weeks ago during their romantic trip to Hawaii together.

Jake is currently filming a guest stint on the Lifetime series Drop Dead Diva in Atlanta, while Vienna is in Los Angeles.

There was no reason given for the break up.
