Zhang Ziyi reacts in surprise as Marco Muller, director of the 63rd Venice Film Festival, goes down on his knees to welcome the Chinese star for the premiere of "The Banquet", September 4, 2006. The film, directed by Feng Xiaogang and starring Zhang, Zhou Xun, Ge You and Daniel Wu, has been described as a loose adaptation of "Hamlet," featuring royal conflicts and revenge in 10th century China.
