Before the American Idol winner 2008 was announced, A.I. top 2 David Cook & David Archuleta performed a "Hero" duet on the American Idol season finale on May 21. Blessed by a huge volume of cast votes, David Cook later finally won American Idol 7 in Nokia Theatre.
