Actor Dylan McDermott is divorcing from his wife of almost 13 years, actress Shiva Rose. The 46-year-old star of The Practice filed a divorce petition for in Los Angeles Superior Court last Friday May 16, citing irreconcilable differences. Dylan McDermott married with Shiva Rose, 39, on Nov. 19, 1995. The couple who got estranged in 2007 have two daughters, 12-year-old Collette Blu and 2-year-old Charlotte Rose. Dylan seeks joint legal and physical custody of two daughters with Shiva. Link
Update: Dylan McDermott Shiva Rose divorce has been finalized, Los Angeles Superior Court filed the paper (pdf file here) on December 3, 2008. Dylan McDermott acted as his own lawyer. It's not clear about the custody status of his two daughters with Rose. According to E!Online, Dylan McDermott and Shiva Rose will not officially be singles until the mandatory six-month waiting period concludes Jan. 2.
