The Liaoning girl of China has dreams of being a scientist in interstellar aernautics.
She must have been an idol of many Chinese high school students!Wang loves English and scored 643 on her TOEFL (Test of English As a Foreign Language) and 2,090 on the SAT1 (Scholastic Aptitude Test for Math, Chinese and English) and 2,400 on the SAT2 (Scholastic Aptitude Text for Math, Physics and Chemistry). Her score on the SAT2, a requirement for admission to U.S. colleges, was higher than that of many American students.
Eyeing the top 100 U.S. universities, Wang sent applications to 14 of them.Her acceptances included a full scholarship of US$46,000 to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and another full scholarship to the University of Pennsylvania.
