The critically-endangered Sumatran striped rabbit, Nesolagus netscheri was photographed in January by a camera trap in Bukit Barisan National Park on the Indonesian island of Sumatra. This is the only third time that the animal was spotted in the past 35 years with the first sighting by a scientist back in 1972. Link
