Dan Fogelberg (picture above), the singer and songwriter had died Sunday December 16 at his home in Maine after a three-year battle prostate cancer, announced a message on his website http://www.danfogelberg.com.
Dear friends,
Dan left us this morning at 6:00am . He fought a brave battle with cancer and died peacefully at home in Maine with his wife Jean at his side. His strength, dignity and grace in the face of the daunting challenges of this disease were an inspiration to all who knew him.
Dan Fogelberg was 56 years old only. His hits Leader of the Band and Same Old Lang Syne helped define the soft-rock era.
