Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick was sentenced Monday December 10 in Richmond, Virginia to 23 months in prison by U.S. District Court Judge Henry E. Hudson for financing a dogfighting ring and helping to kill pit bulls that did not fight aggressively. Be shamed on Michael Vick, who fell from once one of the highest paid players in the National Football League to now an inmate with a term of nearly two years. We hailed Judge Hudson's Michael Vick sentencing, and we oppose any animal abuse!
