The eight-wheel machine newly put in use on the streets of city Fuzhou, capital of southeast China's Fujian province is an amphibious vehicle. On the land it can run at 50 kilometers an hour, while in water it moves like a boat. It's designed especially for flood emergencies, which are familiar to coastal areas in east China in summer time.
