Kayla Hatfield, from Campbell, Texas is a car-accident survivor who auditions American Idol 7 in Dallas. She lives on a horse farm with her kids. Possibly for her love of life, Hatfield was offered the greenlight after she sang Janis Joplin's Take a Little Piece of My Heart. Best Wishes for this mother American Idol contestant.
