After a two month hiatus due to the Writer's Strike, Late Show with David Letterman comes back on the night of January 2, 2008. David Letterman who grew grey beards this time went back on the air with the show's writers, thanks to an independent deal made between the striking Writers Guild of America and his Worldwide Pants production company.
