At an age of 41, even for almost all male swimming athletes who may not compete in a major swimming event, but for Dara Torres - mother of a two-year-old, she now has successfully qualified for the Beijing Olympic Games. At the U.S. Olympic swimming trials in Omaha, Nebraska on the night of Independence Day, Ms. Torres clocked a 53'78 in the women's 100 meter freestyle event, which secured her a Olympic berth for the fifth time.
