Historical Crossings

    North Korea TrainFor the first time after the 1950-53 Korean War, trains crossed Korea's tense demilitarized zone on 17 May, carrying 150 people each from the North and South and new hopes for peaceful reunification of the divided country. The picture above from a set of slides shows a North Korea's train (does its Korea characters read 'The Train that Great President King IL Sung Boarded?') entering the South Korea.
