This NOAA satellite image taken at 2:45 a.m. EDT Sunday Sept. 2, 2007 shows Hurricane Felix, bottom center, about 45 miles northeast of Bonaire. According to the National Hurricane Center Felix has become a Category 2 hurricane with sustained maximum winds of about 100 mph (160 kph). Felix, the the second Atlantic hurricane of the season after Dean, is moving to the west at 18 mph and is expected to strengthen during the next 24 hours.
