David Copperfield Accused of Raping Seattle Woman

A Seattle woman has made a rape claim against magician David Copperfield, reported FOX News.

The woman told Seattle police David Copperfield raped her while she was in the Bahamas [where Copperfield has bought a private island called Musha cay]. Because the alleged incident happened abroad and the woman did not report it until she returned to the United States, Seattle authorities turned over the case to the FBI.

At the very early morning of Thursday October 18, a total of 12 FBI officials raided a Las Vegas warehouse where Copperfield stored his tricks and memorabilia from around the world. They seized a computer hard drive, a memory chip from a digital camera and close to $2 million in cash during a late-night raid. Very surprised,  Seattle FBI Agent Robbie Burroughs said that the case was not related to the Seattle woman's accusation but one unknown case in Washington.

FBI and David Copperfield's  Las Vegas attorney David Chesnoff confirmed that the maginician has been contacted by law enforcement authorities and the FBI has conducted an investigation in Las Vegas, but refused to shed any light on the raid.
