Prince Harry Questioned Over Shooting of 2 Protected Birds, Hen Harriers at Sandringham

Prince Harry, the 23-year-old British royal, has been questioned by police over the illegal shooting two legally-protected birds of prey with his close friend on the Royal Family’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk on October 24.

The killing of a hen harrier is punishable with a six month jail sentence or a £5,000 fine, because the creatures are a protected species under British law.
