Mark Anderson, a 48-year-old California dentist who is accused of fondling the breasts of 27 female patients, argues that the chest message is necessary to treat temporo-mandibular joint disorder (TMJ) in an effort to secure his licence.
Anderson's dental license was suspended last month by the administrative law judge Jonathan Lew. He was charged with two misdemeanor counts of battery and sexual battery.
Mark Anderson's attorney Robert Zaro said Anderson, 48, of Woodland, needs to keep seeing patients so he can feed his seven children and pay for his defense.
