The Singaporean lady was alleged of using the red bra as a charm to ward of a recent spate of bad luck.
SINGAPORE: What would you do if you were hanging out at a hawker center in Jurong and saw a lady walking about with a red bra dangling off her umbrella?
A woman who witnessed just such an event promptly snapped a photo of the odd sight and posted it on the Internet.
Angelia (name transliterated), the woman who took the picture, said that she spotted the lady walking around the hawker center with a bright red bra hanging off her umbrella. The lady attracted a lot of attention due to her odd “accessory”.
At first, Angelia thought the woman had simply snagged someone’s laundry with her umbrella by accident. However, when she took a closer look, she realized that the bra had been fastened securely to the umbrella with a clip, meaning that the bra had been attached to the umbrella intentionally.
She thought that the lady’s behaviour was odd, but the lady herself acted as if nothing was amiss and even sat down to have a meal.
