Rapper Kanye West's mom Donda West was laid to rest on November 20 at the True Vine Ministry Church in her native Oklahoma city. Her body arrived at the church in a coffin via white hearse, and after the service was taken to a cemetery by two horse-drawn carriages, reported MTV.com
Entertainers John Legend, Anita Baker, Beyonce and Jay-Z attended Tuesday's Donda West funeral service.
The night before, Kanye West performed in Brussels, Belgium, where he again paid a very emotional tribute.
Donda West, 58, former chair of the English department at Chicago State University, died November 10, a result of complications from a tummy tuck and breast reduction medical procedure performed by (in)famous plastic surgeon Jan Adams.
