Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (田川 洋行), the 57-year-old Japanese American film and TV actor, was arrested at his Diamond Head-area home on Wednesday (Nov. 14) night. He has been charged with abuse of a family member.
The actor has appeared in numerous films, including "Memoirs of a Geisha," "Pearl Harbor" and "Planet of the Apes." He most recently appeared in "Balls of Fury," and two episodes of NBC's "Heroes."
It was said his girlfriend had bruises to her legs but did not require hospitalization.
Tagawa is free on $1,000 bail.
